Dead Reprise first chapter was written back in 2001 when four friends from different bands got together to start something more serious. Swedish hardcore was dying a slow death and it was time to bring the passion and dedication back. After a few gigs and couple of demos out, the rumor about this new pissed off hardcore band spread allover Scandinavia and inspired a new generation of kids to put up shows and start their own bands. After the release of the mcd ”Death Of A Nation” (DVI) in 2004 Dead Reprise got shows outside the swedish borders and gained respect as one of the most respected and promising hardcorebands from Sweden. In 2007, the dutch label GSR, home of Rag Men, Knuckledust, Born From Pain and Arkangel signed Dead Reprise to release the first full-length entitled ”Day Of Defiance” in 2008. With numerous shows played allover Europe including the UK with bands like Terror, Hoods, Sworn Enemy, Merauder, No Innocent Victim, Walls Of Jericho and Born From Pain, Dead Reprise are here to stay and stronger than ever with the fresh recording of the 2nd full length ”The Unveiling”, feat HF of Ringworm and produced by Jonas Kjellgren (Scar Symmetry, ex-Carnal Forge) in the classic studio Abyss (Celtic Frost, Immortal, Dark Funeral, Marduk, Hypocrisy) in Sweden.
